Lavenham is enjoying a period of unprecedented community activity. After years of fundraising a dedicated local self help construction team has completed a new pavilion, whilst the village hall project makes exciting progress.

A First Responder group, community bus project, progress towards the creation of our community woodland and other tree planting schemes all show what can be achieved by the community working together.

The Village Design Statement recently launched after an in-depth survey of residents' needs and priorities provided the District Council with very clear pointers for their future plans for Lavenham.

In 1998 Lavenham residents decided to undertake a study of how they view themselves as a community. The VDS fulfils that immediate aim.		A multi-purpose village hall is a priority of many. It is vital to have a facility for the benefit of both old and young alike. Find out how we're doing and how you can help. LAMBS		Lavenham Pavilion
LAMBS (Lavenham Area MiniBus Scheme) exists to provide a means of travel for people who are unable to use conventional public transport or who do not have access to scheduled services which run to their required destination.
