[A Collage of Lavenham]

Lavenham Parish Council's Millennium Website

Welcome to Lavenham's Millennium Website. Lavenham is regarded as being the finest surviving example of an English Medieval town. Of particular note is the splendid Church and Guildhall (both of which can be seen on the following pages) intermingled with the ancient timber framed dwellings, thus providing a lasting legacy of the wealthy 15th and 16th century clothiers.

The collage is compiled and continually updated from pictures, anecdotes and contributions from residents and visitors past and present. We do hope you enjoy it and welcome any relevant additions you may have to offer.
